The 2014 Optimist U-18 International Curling Championships held in Surrey and Langley, BC, on April 2-6, was won by the Manitoba Women’s Team and the Connecticut Men’s Team. The Alberta Women’s Team won the bronze medal and the Saskatchewan Women’s Team finished fourth. While the Alberta Men’s Team finished fifth and the Saskatchewan Men’s Team finished seventh.
I am pleased to announce that the 2015 and 2016 Optimist U18 International Curling Championships will be held in Edmonton at the Jasper Place Curling Club.
They are holding a Spaghetti Dinner/Dance kick-starter fundraiser for the 2015 U18 on Saturday, June 7, at the Curling Club. Tickets are $20. Children are welcome; so take the whole family!
