A big thank you goes out to everyone that helped out at the Commonwealth events and the Eskimo game that we have recently had. Without your help we would not be able to do it.

•Friday, Sept. 23: vs. B.C. Lions

•Saturday, Nov. 5: vs. Toronto Argonauts

 

 

About 100 shifts were filled by Optimists for the Porkapalooza / Eskimos game June 17 to June 19. A

Special great big Thank you to Optimist Clint for coordinating these events. About 80,000 people

attended these two events at the Clarke and Brick fields. It was great having lots of members to help

out with the parking. The fact that for the most part the parking went smoothly can be contributed to all members that helped out. Thank you to members that worked double, triple and all of the shifts.

Optimist Joanne was on double duty as she also was a Porkapooza volunteer and at times as required did both jobs at the same time!!

 

Parking was exciting at times as we only had 500 stalls to work with. After this event the remaining parking events will seem very quiet.
